Fish of the Year 2020
« on: January 06, 2021, 05:22:38 PM »
Well folks it's that time of the year again.  There are 11 winning fish to choose from for your vote.  Please vote for your favourite to become Fish of The Year 2020.

The voting will remain open for ten days (three days longer than usual) to allow everyone to have enough time to decide which fish to vote for.

1.  January Sam Smith with a Haddock from the River Tyne

2.  February Captain Birsdeye with a Smelt from the River Tyne

3.  March Captain Birsdeye with a Tadpole Fish from Seaham Pier

4.  May Tonynufc with a Tadpole Fish from St Abbs

5.  June Scotty73 with a 3lb 2oz Ballan Wrasse from Beadnell

6.  July Scotty73 with a 14lb 8oz Bull Huss from SW Scotland

7.  August Bamba with a 9lb (estimated) Pollack from the Isle of Skye

8.  September Bamba with a 13lb 12oz Spurdog from Oban

9.  October Scotty73 with a 14lb 8oz Conger from Northumberland

10.  November Scotty73 with a 13lb 14oz Cod from Northumberland

11.  December Liam Smith with a 2lb Flounder from the Aln Estuary in Northumberland

I just slap it on my box and if it doesn't hang over the edge it isn't big enough
