Fish of the Year 2018

Well folks it's that time of the year again.  Here are the twelve winning fish from the 2018 Fish of the Month polls.  Please vote for your favourite to become Fish of The Year 2018. The winner will receive a Fish of The Year signature badge.

The voting will remain open for ten days (three days longer than usual) to allow everyone to have enough time to decide which fish to vote for.


1. BrianJ with a 4lb 3oz codling from Lynemouth.



2. Liam Muizelaar with a 2lb 11oz bass from Druridge Bay.



3. Scotty73 with a thornback ray from SW Scotland.



4. BrianJ with a thornback ray from SW Scotland.



5. Thunderpants with a 11lb 14oz thornback ray  from SW Scotland.



6. Liam Muizelaar  with a 14lb 4oz bull huss  from Anglesey.



7. Eltel with a 2lb 4.5oz turbot from Druridge Bay.



8. Liam Smith with a 3lb 15oz bass



9. Danglerman with a 15lb 14oz Bull Huss from Silloth



10. Thunderpants with a 4lb 14oz Bass from Chesil Beach



11. Scotty73 with a 9lb 8oz Cod from Coldingham



12. JV with a bass from South Shields

Just noticed that this years fish of the year has the least number of species in the list.

There is now a 'remove vote' option on the poll folks after one of the lads voted in error (sausage fingers and a small phone screen  smiley-lol.gif)
