Tip Tornado Super Match Low Diameter!

Most people just shorten the name as they can't be bothered to write out the whole thing!  smiley-lol.gif

I've got the tip tornado LD which I love and tend to use as much as I can but when it is really calm it is slightly overkill for clean beaches (had codling to over 5lb on it no bother at all). It is brilliant to use fishing for bass in the surf as it will throw a 5oz lead and rig no problem at all. I hope the super match LD will be just hat by lighter for what I'm after  .cool. I will probably fish them as a pair anyway as I can't afford to buy two!

Jeremy Schrader (Australian angler / tournament caster) did a lot of work on the TTLDSM prototype, going back eight or nine years but if you search WSF it should throw up some interesting posts of his from the rod development. Agree on the TTLD, it's got far more grunt than many give it credit for, lots of lads used them for Smut fishing on the south coast when I lived down there and I've gone well over 200 yards with the 150g with mine back in my casting days. From what I remember of the posts Jeremy did on the development the TTSMLD is more of a j-curve (tippier action) than the LD but also has a bit more poke in the butt...

Called into NETS at lunchtime and had a good look at the TTSMLD with the Fuji reel seat. Cracking rod so I'll be getting one next month.  .happyhappy.
