« on: November 16, 2017, 11:32:00 AM »
MY m8t called tuesday afternoon 2 c if i fancied having a lookout later that night, he came & picked me up at 6-45,got up their 7-30
there were a couple of guys packing there car, asked if there was anything doing, they said just small stuff, the sea was flat as a witches
tit,got 2 our place where we always try 2 get,started fishing about 7-50,nothing much happening at 1st,then about 10-15 my m8t got the 1st fish,a small codling 1lb 4oz,then i got 1 around 10-50 1lb2oz then another 1/2hour later 1lb 6oz about 1 hour later my m8t got
another about the same stamp as mine, then it all went quiet,we fished on till 02-30 & called it a night.bait used rag, lug, razor crab, blacks & cart, .happydancer.(tight lines)
why buy fish? when you can have so much fun catching them.

Sounds like a long night but at least you managed a few fish out in the middle of it. You did well to get those in such a flat sea  .cool.

Long session for you both but at least you didn’t blank. Hope the bigger fish turn up next time.
I will only be out for a couple of hours pet.
