Russian roulette
« on: August 05, 2017, 05:04:39 PM »
Well, Mike gave me a handful of chilli plants a wee while back and now is the time to start cropping the chillies... Trouble is, there were quite a few different types, some hotter than the others and I don't have a clue which is which!!  .crap. smiley-lol.gif

Looking good mate. The one on the left pointing upwards is "Hot Banana" which is quite spicy but not stupidly hot and is nice raw stuffed with cheese. They do not turn red, just a yellow/orange when ripe. The one on the right looks like "Big Jim" which is not too hot. Pick those when they turn red mate.

You could grow a chilli plant in an old boot. We have old Dr Martens in our garden with plants growing in them. Chillis would look good in boots. Anyway, never mind Russian Roulette. This is Mexican Roulette!

Well... The curly green ones have nearly blown my head off... Thanks Mike! I had about 1/4 of one on a pizza and then had to drink 4 beers just to try and chill my mouth out... Tomorrow morning is going to result in some serious ring sting  .crap. .goodbye. .frantic.

Lol. The thin curly ones are a variety called "hot and spicy" which is a cooking chilli, too hot to eat raw. Its the fatter ones you can stuff with cheese lol.

Beer is the worst thing to drink for chilli burn it intensifies the heat. Drink milk, that neutralises it.

Put some loo roll in the fridge mate  smiley-lol.gif
