Do any of you lads know how to set one up I've had a go but must be missing something as loads of programmes won't work

They are a pain in the butt mate....and I am a very techie person.
You would expect a nice simple "plugin and go" but they require a load of messing around installing packages and all that crap.
I lost patience with mine after a few hours.

The best advice I can offer you is to google your device model and find a setup guide....(or better still get a refund!)

had the same problem with the box we had got the lad from the shop to set it up after two days of trying to tune it in myself  :cry:
nowt again as usual ,just giving worms swimming lessons officer

Dave they can be great but I bought one that needed everything installed and it was a bit of a pain. Loads of free TV, sport and movies but some stuff is glitchy. Plenty of forums giving advice on best boxes and add ones to put on it.
Still sticking with sky but I do watch stuff on mine.
I beat the cod challenge!
