dab i think or flounder





It's a flounder. Dabs have big eyeballs, a semi circular curve in the lateral line above the pectoral fin and they do not show the lumps along the lateral line that your fish has (they are flounder specific). Another way to check if you are not sure is to run your finger along it, dabs feel rough in one direction and smooth in the other.

Well that's the first week of the species hunt done. JV took an early lead but Eltel sneaked in at the last minute to take the top spot only to get overtaken an hour later by Aqua-holic who came straight in at the top of the table with six points. So at the end of Week 1 we have 10 sardines off the mark in the challenge and Aqua-holic is our first member to reach mackerel status.  Great stuff lads.

Darn it  .frantic. smiley-lol.gif last time I see the top of the table....but it's all about doing better than we did last year so for me great white status is my aim this time around.
