New additions to the site?
« on: December 11, 2014, 03:44:06 PM »
Sar Facebook catch report posts?, Nesa catch report window? Good or bad additions to the site?  I'd like to hear your opinions before we add them as a permanent fixture to the forum  .cool.

Like the SAR facebook link but not the NESA one.
When I go on the main site I tend to click on Show unread posts since last visit & as such don't want to be bombarded with NESA links.
If I want to know whats happening on NESA I will look on there site.
I will only be out for a couple of hours pet.

i would say they are unnecessary really, i'd guess most who use sar use the other fishing sites too and would have most likely already seen them with a few exceptions...

Yes dave I kind of agree but was however looking at things from the point of view of those who are not on facebook...bringing Facebook reports and the main forum together gives our non facebook members more reports to look at. The nesa window link was from my own point of view as I often use that forum to I thought possibly having it here saves us closing and opening browsers?  pirate.gif  :)

Was hoping to also add whitby sea anglers..wsf and whatever else you all fancied but it seems those forums have more security and at the moment I can't iframe link them.  .unsure. smiley-lol.gif

I agree with the others, if we want to look at other sites we can do so easily, without the need for links.
