Dave 1945 wins the SAR Species Challenge

Dave 1945 wins our species challenge competition of 2014....Dave caught twenty nine different species of fish to take the title of ULTIMATE PREDATOR, a huge well done from all at sar.  .number1. smiley32


Thanks go out to all who made this an entertaining competition and it was a close run thing throughout!


Special mention goes to young Liam who managed to catch twenty different species of fish embarasing quite a few of us grown ups along the way.  .unsure. .cool.


A quick break down of fish species entered by all shows 49 different species caught by all in total, excellent work,  happy_days.gif .number1.


Remember that's not the end of our competition we have a vote coming tomorrow to find out who has won our best specimen trophy to...make sure you get your vote in!


Dave1945 will recieve the sar species challenge trophy within the week, a special trophy goes out to young Liam to for best effort and a trophy will go to the winner of our best specimen competition to.  Dave, Liam and the best specimen winner will also get their picture in our elite hall of fame where only the best of the best reside. 


Again big thanks to all for making this one such a success.  .worship.

Well done Dave some cracking species in your list mate. A great competition, quite nail biting towards the end. Let's hope we do it all again next year.

Huge well done to you dave just rewards for all the effort you put in over the closing weeks mate and what a fish to finish it with I will be trying for the rays again once seaham north pier opens after the repairs

Dave out of the 49 species that were caught in the hunt how many were actually caught off the north east coast between the river allen and the tees
